When my husband retired a little over 2 years ago, we moved back to my homeland here in England after I had been in the USA for almost 30 years! Not being ready to retire myself I was lucky enough to join the team here the Spa and now I find my days filled with connecting with amazing ladies every day. There is nothing like being able to see and help women to relax and care for themselves with some 'downtime' as I know how incredibly hard every woman works for themselves and their families and often put themselves last on the list. This is something every woman deserves!
I am so thankful to be back 'home', to be around more of my family after so many years and to live in the beautiful area of Ross-on-Wye. Being able to share this with my husband and our German Shepherd 'Fur-Kid' is a joy.
I am originally from Zimbabwe and moved over to the U.K in 2001 at the age of 19. My husband is also from Zimbabwe and together we have 3 wonderful girls, they are very supportive and help with the day to day running of life. I love to bake, cook and make homemade gifts for all my family and friends. In 2017 I started working at the spa and have recently been made head therapist. I love all aspects of the the treatments we offer especially the mix of massages and facials and am very lucky to work with an amazing team of ladies.
I started working at Wye Valley Spa just over a year ago. I love all aspects of beauty especially facials and nails. We are a busy family as I also run an evening exercise class. When I am working here, I have an incredibly supportive husband who steps up to take care of our 4 children. I have recently been given the role of assistant to help organise the smooth running of the daily Treatments for the clients.
Every day is busy however I love working here with such a great team, here at the Spa.
I have been at Wye Valley Spa since June 2019, only a short time but it feels much longer which is only a good thing for me as I feel right at home with all of the staff/team. I am a level 2 & 3 in beauty therapy which includes electrical facial & body treatments, my main expertise are in level 3 massage body & facial therapy, so I cover a range of facials, massages, full-body scrubs, Hopi ear candling sometimes I do the occasional manicure/Pedicure work. I enjoy all areas of my job and can't say I have a favourite treatment.
I live in a local village close to the spa with my partner our two young girls, ages 4 & 2 I also have two much older children that live away now. I don’t have time for hobbies as I’m running around after my children when not at work. Even though I have a hectic life raising my family, the help & support I get from my partner allows me to do the job which I enjoy doing and giving my best to all of the clients and supporting the team I work within.
I am 36 years old. I married my Husband, Lee, in March last year and between us we have 3 beautiful children. We recently moved back from Bristol, back nearer my home town in wales. I joined the team here at the Wye Valley Spa quite recently and have to say I really enjoy working here. We are a friendly team and hope this is felt by out guests. I am Level 2 qualified with additional certifications in all aspects of beauty. I particularly enjoy doing facial and massage treatments as I love to see the ladies that come here leave feeling completely relaxed and refreshed.
My name is Olivia and I have recently started working at Wye Valley Spa. I love it here, I love the people and I love meeting new clients, I enjoy doing beauty, especially nails and I am always trying to be better than I was yesterday. My hobbies are doing nails and gaming and I do like a bit of cheeky shopping. I like spending time with my Mum and Nanna. I love everything spooky and creepy and consider myself a bit weird.
I am a level 3 beauty therapist and nail tech, and I qualified from Blackpool College back in 2000. I can carry out face and body treatments, as well as nail and pedicure services.
I have previously worked in a hotel spa and high street salons, before taking a career break to get married and raise my children. I have 2 sons, and a daughter who loves anything with glitter!
Outside of the spa, I love to read, bake, attempt to crochet and support my children's involvement with the Scouts.
I am 30 years old and i was born in sunny South Africa, where I studied my international massage therapy course in 2008, before finding the man of my dreams and was then lucky enough to marry my amazing husband.
I moved to the UK in April 2019 and I have enjoyed every second of it. I have only been working at the Spa for a short period of time and have fallen in love with it.
It’s been amazing to meet my fellow therapists and all the new clients that come in for treatments. I always feel so good when a client leaves feeling better, and more relaxed after their treatments than before they came in. It’s the feeling I strive for so that every customer walks away feeling happy and refreshed.
I have only recently started at the spa but very much enjoying it.
I qualified in Level 3 beauty while pregnant with my little boy and was working from home around him.
I love seeing the ladies come to the spa and seeing them leave relaxed and feeling pampered. I enjoy doing all treatments but in particular I love doing back massage and facials.
I live in Coleford, am married, and have one son. I have a sister and brother who live abroad and a brother who is a presenter on a local radio program. I love playing bowls, going to church and going out with friends. I am also a member of the Royal British Legion.
I have been working as a cook at Wye Valley Spa for over 3 ½ years now and love it. We have such a great team here.
I've been working at the spa for ~6 years now, I handle all thing I.T. I run around behind the scenes to make sure that all our machines and tech are running smoothly.
I live in Gloucester and mainly work remotely.
